FULFORD, Wayne - Putnam

Michigan City – Services for Wayne O. Fulford, 71 of Michigan City who died at 2:27 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony Hospital after an 8-month illness will be at 11 am Wednesday at the Carlisle Funeral Home. Earl A. Wood, minister of the First Christian Church of which Mr. Fulford was a member will officiate. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte. Friends may call today from 3-5 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday until the hour of service in the funeral home.  He was born July 28, 1910 in Putnam County. Retiring in 1973 he had been employed as an electrician for Local 697, Hammond. In January 1931 in Crown Point he married Helen Brewer who survives. Other survivors include two daughters. Mrs. Patricia Eldridge and Mrs. Elizabeth Ruth Brenneman both of Michigan City; a son, Wayne John Fulford of LaPorte; four grandchildren and two sisters, Mr. Ruie Davis Fitz of Michigan City and Mrs. Juanita Gail Reg of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  A daughter and two sisters preceded him in death. He was a veteran of WWII. – kbz
